Change God's Mind by Frankie Dawson

Hello Fellow Veterans,

I write for the Reporter in Gadsden, Alabama for my friend Theresa who owns the paper. Here is my contribution...

What a month of November, what an eye-opening time…Thanksgiving just wasn’t the same. Yeah there was lots of food, turkey, football; but something was

different!

The atmosphere… What about the atmosphere? It was suspicious, like being on display! There’s a change coming, people. I keep telling you to know Jesus…
know his voice, John 10:27-29

My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me is greater than all. No one can snatch them out of My Father’s hand…

Now for December…I know there are a lot of prophets, real and not real, going around prophesying good and not so good things. They often quote Amos 3:7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.

I, myself go in and out of the internet looking for the latest prophecy…even try to go back to the dead ones…was he, Mr. Prophet, right? Is this going to happen? When? What is next? Is my family safe? Will we make it?

Relax…did you know, you, yes little old me and you can change God’s mind! What? Are you nuts?

The Lord can allow His own divine will to be “overruled” in favor of your will!

Where is that?

2Kings 20: 1 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the LORD says: Put your house in order you are going to die; you will not recover.

2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,

3 Remember, O LORD, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

4Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the LORD came to him:

5“Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, “This is what the LORD of your father David, says: I have heard our prayer and seen your tears, I will heal you.

6 I will add fifteen years to your life, and I will deliver you…and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria…I will defend this city for MY OWN SAKE and for MY Servant David’s sake…

Go and read it for yourself…

This king was going to die! He cried and wept bitterly before our merciful God! Not an angel, not the pastor…He changed God’s mind!

Oh people, veterans, seek Jesus, the only begotten Son of God! The only way to God is through Jesus, Yashua Hamashua! If you don’t know HIM, get to know HIM.
